Our summer seminarian, Steven Marchand will be giving the second of a two-part presentation for the parish speaking about how Catholicism has and does affect culture. Attendance of the first part is not necessary to attend the second part. Topics will include questions such as: How does a Catholic view the world? How does a Catholic relate with creation and spiritual realities? Do the sacraments affect my worldview? How does prayer and the liturgy affect me and the wider culture? What is the role of beauty in our lives?

When? Beginning at about 6:00pm following a 5:15pm Mass in St. Theresa’s church on Thursday, July 28th, 2016.
Light snacks and refreshments will be served immediately following Mass. All are welcome! Please join us!

On Tuesday, July 19th at 6:00pm, the Parish Council will meet to discuss new plans for evangelization and proposed changes to the weekend Mass schedule to allow time for a new Sunday family formation program. Fr. Naples discussed these and other parish news in the recent June 26th parish bulletin insert. Click here to read it online.
The proposed changes to Mass times are as follows:
- Sunday, 8:15AM Mass in Irasburg to move to beginning at 7:45AM or 8:00AM
- Sunday, 11:00AM Mass in Barton to move to beginning at 9:30AM or 10:00AM
- Saturday, 6:00PM Mass in Barton to move to beginning at 5:30PM, to be celebrated June through September.
All parishioners are welcome to attend Parish Council meetings. They are open to non-council members. The meeting will be held in the rectory, which is right next to St. Paul’s church in Barton (Click here for directions).
Please consider praying a Novena as we present these thoughts and plans to the Lord. Nine Rosaries are recommended.
