A cemetery Memorial Day Mass will be celebrated on Monday, May 30th, at 9:00am at St. Theresa’s Cemetery off of the Barton Orleans Road. Click here for directions.
Trinity Sunday, May 22nd 2016, there will be a 3:00pm Prayer Celebration in St. Theresa’s Church and 4:00pm dinner in the parish hall. Part of the prayer celebration will be the re-installation of the tabernacle in St. Theresa’s church.
The names of the people who purchased the tabernacle in 1952 were found written on papers in the tabernacle’s interior lining. The original papers have been kept in the lining of the re-finished tabernacle. Copies of the list will be viewable at the celebration and in St. Theresa’s church. Help is wanted to decipher and record all the names.
If anyone can volunteer to help with the preparation of the dinner portion of the celebration, please contact Fr. Naples in person or contact the parish office.
A Campaign to Raise Money for the Restoration of the Clock in St. Paul’s Church
St. Paul’s Church was built in 1903 with the prayers, dedication, and hard work of area parishioners and priests. Arthur S. Redfield raised money to have a town clock installed in the steeple for all to enjoy. The clock no longer functions. Most Holy Trinity Parish would like to install an electronic actuator which will allow the clock to function again and the bells to toll. The cost of this project will be $16,000.
We have commenced fundraising for this endeavor and through the generosity of some area businesses we are on our way, but there is more to be done. For more information about the campaign please download the printable pledge card*. Thank you for any support you can give to our restoration effort.
*(Update 9/9/2016: the link to the pledge card has been removed because the campaign has finished successfully! Thank you for your support!)
